TLDR: Great half price sushi, good quality rolls, attentive service. Nothing to complain about!

Ok, I love all kinds of mango rolls, so don't judge. There will always be mangoes in my life.

Half price sushi is the way to go. They have half price sushi after 4pm everyday, such a steal! It's dine in only and doesn't include takeout.

I got 3 rolls (2 specialty and 1 regular) and 4 nigiri for about $32. I ended up taking most of my rolls home (classic case of "eyes bigger than my stomach").

I got the K.S. Roll, the mango tango, and the salmon skin roll.

K.S. roll: love it. I love torched salmon and shrimp tempura. My paradise.

Mango Tango: I didn't like it (They were very accommodating and let me have the roll not deep fried). I didn't like the mashed mango on top, I would rather it be sliced mango. I also didn't think it matched very well with the fish inside. I should have ordered the Mango Samba which is shrimp tempura on the inside, but since I already got the KS roll that has shrimp tempura, I opted for the Mango Tango.

Salmon skin roll: nothing to complain about. The salmon skin was fried fresh and was still warm and crispy when the roll came. My go-to regular roll.

The nigiri were all fresh and of decent quality.

I will definitely be coming back a lot since I live so close!

Service is always very efficient.  My complaint is the issue with not being able to modify any sushi rolls based on the language barrier issue.  We've been told by a waitress that we have to be very specific with the sushi chef or they will not have any idea what to make.   Tonight I asked for a roll to be made vegan, I even suggested what veggies to substitute but was told no.   There is no reason the answer should be no.
Also, they can't make gluten free pad Thai.

Their rolls are fresh and the specialty rolls my husband ordered were enormous.

1 star for our amazing server because she was on it! Gave us a rundown of the menu since we'd never been. Would have been appreciated if she comped something from the meal since we left 98% of the food uneaten.

Decided to get veggie tempura, veggie dumplings, miso soup, house salad with ginger dressing, AAC roll, and a Sunday Morning roll.

Nothing was fresh. The salmon tasted fishy and off, the salad was bland and so was the dressing. The veggie filling inside of the dumplings was so strange and had an off putting texture. The tempura was flavorless. The saving grace was the miso soup which had a great salty depth to it.

I don't like leaving bad reviews but we spent probably $60 and finished only one thing; the soup. Not sure if the timing or day was off, but with that many failures on simple dishes, I'd recommend any other sushi spot in Cinci.. and this is the only one I've been to here...

Me. Sushi on my lunch break was a plus. I've been here plenty of times. I don't eat sushi as much as I did but when I get a hunger for it I'm HERE. I more into the cooked sushi the raw isn't for me. I'm having the SundayMorning Roll every time; Mon,Tues.,Wed.,Thurs,Fri.,Sat.... it don't matter! When I want SUSHI EVERYDAY IS SUNDAY!!!

The sushi was amazing! My fiancé and I got 5 rolls and they were all really good and the portion sizes were pretty generous. We came after 4 so the sushi was 1/2 price. This will be one of my new go to sushi places!
